  Curriculum - students in class

As a toolkit for living fully in an interfaith family, the Family School curriculum is designed to foster a religio-cultural literacy for understanding the similarities and differences between Judaism and Catholic Christianity. Students examine the core Judeo-Christian values and ethics implied in our religions’ mutual calls for Tikkun Olam (“Healing the World”) and Building the Kingdom of God.

K-8 Grade Level Scope & Sequence
The Family School Curriculum was developed with extensive input from participating families, and written by Patty Rust Kovacs, who has also written the school's textbooks that are used in the 2nd, 5th, 6th and 7th grades. Through developmentally appropriate sequences, students explore key religious stories, personalities and philosophies through content, context, and community-building activities.
